Hungry for a proper steak with bold flavour? Our 16oz Rump Steak (454g) is a generous cut that’s perfect for sharing (or not, we won’t judge). Taken from the rear of the animal, rump has a firm texture and rich, beefy taste that rewards quick, hot cooking. Season simply, sear for 3–4 minutes per side for medium-rare (around 55–60°C), then rest for at least 5 minutes before slicing.
Served with chunky chips, grilled mushrooms and a dollop of peppercorn or chimichurri sauce. Or slice it thin and load it into flatbreads with salad and garlic mayo for a steak night twist. Store in the fridge for 2–3 days or freeze on arrival if needed.
