Chicken & Mushroom Pies (6 x 240g) FROZEN

I've done a few reviews on this butcher. Before they moved they were great but now thankfully they are even better. I have not seen a better run butchers and the quality of meats are the best around for us. The staff are polite and professional.

Went there for breakfast, food was good, and served quickly. The restaurant was rammed full of women, not yet returned from the school run and was very, noisy, lots of pensioners also so the car park was full. I noted at least 8 disabled bays, all in use with two cars showing a blue badge. Ate my food quickly and left.

Greatest butcher in southern England. What more is there to be said.

You get a good service from the meat and cheese counter for sure, there's a selection of jarred and prepped food but sadly baked goods are plastic-wrapped ultra-processed stuff, butter is not from UK, no fruit and veg, etc.

Didn't use the Garden Centre. Visit was to buy meat from Owtons the butchers on the same site. Good quality (especially their top range beefburgers) as usual.

Best butchers I have ever used. My wife and I always use Owton's for all of our meat.

So pleased I popped into this superb butcher's! Situated within Hilliers Garden Centre, I went in just to look. However, their produce is amazingly diverse. I am so annoyed with myself for not getting the name of the chap who served me. He was an absolute delight! Amusing, friendly with a great sense of humour, and incredibly knowledgeable. His enthusiasm was infectious! I bought some diced venison, and took on board his tip for a tasty casserole, plus 4 of their duck and hoison homemade sausages. Never seen this type before. They were incredibly tasty, highly recommend them! As for the venison, my casserole was second to none thanks to the quality of the meat, and of course, my cooking, ha ha! Thank you for making me smile. A rare gem!

Absolutely amazing! I have moved to the area and wanted to try out the butcher so thought I would try burgers with some bacon. My goodness the meat is amazing! I will never buy a fast food burger again or buy burgers from the supermarket! Absolutely fantastic I can’t wait to try other things this weekend!!

This is such a great butcher in a great and convenient location. Pork ribs and steak highly recommended. Have had a great experience every time we have visited. Meat is amazing. Lots of choice whether you want a roast, barbecue or a weekday meal. Great value bundles too.
