In addition to raising our own beef at Chalcroft Farm, we specialise in locally sourced and traceable meat, working with over 40 farmers within Hampshire and Dorset.

With a recent move to a bespoke 22,000 square foot factory near Southampton, Owton’s is continually investing in the latest machinery, software management, stock systems and refrigerated delivery vehicles so that we can continue to be the South’s leading wholesale meat suppliers. Being at the forefront of our industry is something we’re passionate about, and our long-standing relationship with over 200 Fuller’s pubs is a testament to exactly that.

Our specialised production facilities produce over 12 tons of award-winning sausages, burgers, black pudding and faggots every week. In a recent year, we produced over 2 million burgers with our machines capable of producing 250 burgers per minute.

The catering department here at Owton’s hand cut approximately 1000 steaks every day and trim over 4 tons of pork bellies and loins for our own dry cured bacon production every week. Our butchery department has over 1000 years combined experience within the team, and every week they will process over 18 tons of beef, lamb and pork carcasses.
